I WROTE A POEM TO MYSELF

« I wrote a poem to myself » is a short film I made during the summer of 2025.
It’s a very personal project in which I explored poetry while experimenting with special effects. A young woman feels trapped in an oppressive yet beautiful storm, only to realize that it might have all been an illusion. It’s a universal story about self-confrontation, self-acceptance, and the non-linear path of healing.
My aim was to portray how I felt transitioning into adulthood through a visual metaphor, one where the spectator doesn’t just watch but becomes part of the story.

« I wrote a poem to myself » est un court-métrage que j’ai réalisé durant l’été 2025.
C’est un projet très personnel où j’ai exploré la poésie en expérimentant avec les effets spéciaux. Une jeune femme se sent prisonnière d’une tempête à la fois oppressante et magnifique, avant de réaliser que ce n’était peut-être qu’une illusion. C’est une histoire universelle sur la confrontation avec soi-même, l’acceptation de soi et le chemin sinueux de la guérison.
Mon objectif était de retranscrire mon propre passage à l’âge adulte à travers une métaphore visuelle, où le spectateur n’est pas un simple spectateur, mais un acteur de l’histoire.
